Julie and Julia

Yes... I saw it... It was given to me free from SAG.

3/5 Stars

Meryl Streep: In Top 10 Best Actresses
Amy Adams: Likeable

I thought this was actually a decent film. Honestly, it kind of sparked my ambition to review every film I see in 2010. How about that? It is a feel good movie that is encouraging to our society. I always got a kick out of Julia's excitement, while at the same time annoyed with her voice.

Yes, it is built around Julia Childs and cooking, but is actually kind of enjoyable to watch. I did fall asleep toward the end. I don't think they wrapped it up very well though. Its just interesting to see if Amy Adam's character is going to make it through her one year goal.

Acting: All around great
Writing: Streep brings it to life.
Cinematography: Basic, not a highlight.
Story Line: Inquisitive

The reason it got three stars is because it had as many high points as low points...

Ummm, not a necessity.
